The challenge
Maschio Gaspardo is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Since entering the Romanian market in 2003, the company has established a production factory in Arad County. To adapt to the local market, Maschio Gaspardo needed a tailored marketing strategy aligned with Romania’s specific agricultural landscape.
Strategy
We developed the brand strategy and contributed to the marketing strategy for Maschio Gaspardo, enabling the company to become the leader in Romania’s agricultural machinery production sector.
In 2009, Maschio Gaspardo approached us to define its visual style, increase brand awareness in Romania, and provide strategic support for marketing activities. The company faced two major challenges: inconsistent brand communication and a lack of recognition in Romania’s agricultural market.
Our work began with crafting a brand strategy and redesigning promotional materials to ensure consistent messaging that highlighted the brand’s core values—tradition, quality, and reliability—while showcasing its products. Over the years, we developed various promotional assets, including press layouts, flyers, brochures, banners, and roll-ups for campaigns.
Online, we achieved what no other agricultural machinery manufacturer in Romania had managed: establishing the largest agricultural brand presence on social media. Maschio Gaspardo’s Facebook page grew to over 22,000 fans and continues to expand. Social media communication focused on promoting agricultural machinery, events, trade fairs, and relevant agricultural news.
The brand had the expertise; we built the identity that finally showed it.
Outcomes
Our collaboration, which began in 2009, has been sustained due to outstanding results. Demand for Maschio Gaspardo agricultural machinery in Romania grew so significantly that by 2013, the company became the market leader and received OSIM approval to register the slogan: “The Number 1 Manufacturer of Agricultural Machinery in Romania.”
