The challenge

With over 24 years of experience in the dental equipment market, Doriot Dent is one of the most notorious distribution brands in the country.

The world’s always spinning, and brand needs to spin with it. Doriot Dent recognized the need to adapt to the evolving digital landscape and to facilitate access to modern technology and education for professionals in the dental industry, venturing into new areas.

Strategy

The brand strategy served as the foundation of the project. This step outlined the main needs of the target groups, observed how they interact with a website during ordering, mapped their needs and affinities for services, and established the channels through which they can be approached. The values, tone, look and feel that the brand would adopt in communication, and the entire personality of Doriot Dent for the future were sketched out.

A successful migration into these domains required the right impact; so, the company’s management decided to develop in three directions: rebranding, a functional and aesthetic e-commerce platform, and an online promotion strategy to communicate the new approach.

 

The first practical step was to bring the details outlined in the strategy to life – a vibrant, modern, clean identity that differentiates itself while conveying a deep connection with cutting-edge equipment, yet also human through personalized illustrations and colorful accents.

Doriot’s online e-commerce platform underwent a comprehensive redesign. It now boasts a modern interface, easy navigation, and a product finder tool in the shop section. The repeat order feature caters to customers with recurring orders, and each product page allows for photos, tables, videos, and document attachments.

Outcomes

In addition to the shop, Doriot created a Digital Dentistry page, serving as a knowledge base for every product on the site. Users can learn why and how each product contributes to streamlining work in their office or laboratory. This page complements the shop and provides valuable information to customers, helping them make informed purchasing decisions.
