The challenge

Asociatia Arborescu focuses on sustainable innovation and impactful environmental projects. The objective is to accelerate the transition towards green energy, promote biodiversity and create a resilient and ecological future for people around the world.

The NGO challenged us to create a visual identity that would reflect their mission and values, while avoiding the visual clichés associated with sustainability. The solution needed to be attractive and easily recognizable, capable of communicating the organization’s commitment to the environment and resonating with a diverse audience, from potential donors to volunteers and the general public.

Strategy

We responded to this challenge with a strategic approach, focused on creating a symbolic logo and a distinctive color palette. The logo, an elegant combination of a tree and a heart, represents the deep connection between man and nature.

The color palette, dominated by shades of green and brown inspired by the forest, is complemented by accents of warm orange, suggesting the energy and enthusiasm of Asociația Arborescu. We also developed a comprehensive style guide that provides clear and precise instructions on the use of the logo, colors, and fonts in various media, from printed materials to digital platforms.

The logo and graphic elements were consistently applied to all the association’s communication materials, including the website, brochures, annual reports, social media posts, and promotional materials.

Sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s a responsibility. We designed an identity that reflects that.

Outcomes

Through this integrated approach, we succeeded in creating a strong and memorable visual identity for Asociația Arborescu, which effectively communicates the values and mission of the organization. We have thus contributed to strengthening their presence in the public space and attracting new supporters for the cause of protecting Romania’s forests.
